What area do you serve?
We serve the entire NY, NJ, CT Tri-State area.
I'm looking for a certain style. Can you accommodate my wishes?
Absolutely, we will accomodate all of your wishes. You can customize the style of your event, ranging from a low-key, elegant wedding at an intimate restaurant, to a high-energy and elaborate dance party for hundreds of guests at a catering hall or club.
What kind of music do you play?
Basically, whatever you and your guests want to hear. Our music library is unsurpassed with the most popular and hard to find hits spanning virtually every era. At every event we are equipped with 80,000+ songs and 20,000 Videos (brand new and classics). Prior to each event we will allow you to select as much music as you wish. We play all genres of music; Top 40, pop, Latin (Bachata, Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia etc), dancehall, Dance, Techno, Rock, Trance, R&B, Hip-Hop, Oldies (Motown, Doo Wop, Disco etc), Reggae, House, World (Reggae, African, Bhangra, Middle Eastern), Soca, Calypso, The Classics (Sinatra to Nat King Cole to Buble), Lounge, Contemporary/Smooth Jazz, Buddha Bar & Café Del Mar
Do you have all the latest music & videos?
We stay up-to-date with every format of today's music and videos; if the music is on the radio or the video is on MTV, we have it in our collection. Go to Event Planner on the menu, then click music database to see some of our music collection.
How many hours are included?
Most of our price quotes include up to 4 hours in one room, however we will gladly customize for shorter or longer events. Overtime is available at all events.
What do you play over cocktails and dinner?
Generally softer music, such as jazz instrumentals, soft rock or love songs, at a volume that is low enough to allow your guests to talk. Of course, this is just a suggestion. You can make a separate request list just for these portions of the event.
Can I request the songs I want played at my party?
Of course; we can mix all types of music or you can ask us to play only one particular type of music.
WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
A deposit reserves your event's date on our calendar and gives you a guarantee. We need to make sure that you are serious about having your event, before we can add you to our calendar. We have a first come, first serve system. We require 50 percent deposit to hold the date, with the final balance due at the start of the event. We also require you to sign a contract.
CAN I MEET THE DJ?Of course; In fact, I recommend that we meet twice, both before and after booking. In the first meeting, we can discuss your needs, and just before your event, we can finalize the details.
Can you play at my wedding ceremony as well?
Absolutely; If this requires an additional system we will add one at a very reasonable rate. We have an abundance of ceremony music.
When will the DJ arrive at the event?
I usually arrive 1 to 2 hours prior to the contracted start time to set up.
What will you wear?
A wedding usually requires a suit or tuxedo-attired at your choice, unless you prefer something else. For a regular party; we dress appropriately for the event.
What kind of equipment is provided?
We use only the newest, top of the line professional DJ audio equipment. A cordless microphone is available for speeches or toasts. Flat screen TV and projectors for viewing videos and photo-montages.
How far in advance should I book?
That's hard to say. Some dates are booked one year in advance, while others aren't booked until a month before. However, as a dual-system company, I can only book on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a deposit required to hold a date. So, I would recommend that you send your deposit as soon as you decide to use us.
What if I can't meet with you? Can I book online or over telephone?
Yes, you may call us 24hrs/day, 7 days a week with the details and I'll send you a contract & all the necessary paperwork. If the event is too soon for mailing, I'll simply email or fax you the forms.
What if I have a question that's not answered here?
